In classic car terms you would be hard pressed to find a more in demand collectible than the 1965 Mustang Convertible. The 1965 Mustang Convertible is on the short list as one of the hottest commodities in the  current Classic car marketplace. Text book restored with a perfectionists attention to detail, this Mustang literally looks like it just rolled off the Dearborn assembly line in 1965.




Ford came through with all of the extra performance and convenience options to back up it's touring act with the 65 Mustang 289 Convertible. Along with being a top end show car this particular Mustang is a near every day driveable package featuring a loaded option list that includes; Deluxe interior, Power Group, Disc brakes, Sports console, Pushbutton AM/FM radio, dual exterior mirrors, Silvertown Redline tires, 14" Styled Steel wheels, GT exhaust, GT grill bar, Carlite tinted glass, and Cruise -O -Matic transmisson.




No compromise attention to detail was given to every single exterior component on this particular Mustang including the paint finish that's been show quality PPG Base/Cleared (1 re-paint) in it's original Code 9 Raven Black. The rest of the outside Jewellery was restored using either NOS or re-finished/re-plated original parts finalizing an exterior package that literally looks like a rolling house of mirrors.


This is an April 20 1965 built, Dearborn assembly, 76A Convertible that retains it's original issue drivetrain and includes a library of restoration receipts and picture documentation from drivetrain to paintwork and beyond. As well this is a lifelong West Coast, collector owned, multiple trophy winning, climate controlled stored car with only show miles driven since restored in 2016 that runs and drives like a new car with absolutely no issues whatsoever. The 1965 Mustang Deluxe interior was an excellent layout that included a long option list with an emphasis on comfort and convenience. Restored to absolute show standards via Year One, this interior is virtually indistinguishable from new with everything in working order from its column mounted clock and tach right down to it's Magic Aire heater.








This is the original C Code 289 for the car that's been rebuilt from top to bottom to absolute stock standards (bills to show) with everything sitting in a show quality engine bay. Every other aspect of this drivetrain is original to the car  from it's C4 transmission right back to it's 2:80:1 conventional axle.
